Peppermint is an option as a pregnancy nausea remedy, which provides instant relief and is considered safe for pregnant women. You can either digest peppermint via candy, oil or tea.

  • Ginger

Ginger is a pregnancy nausea remedy that has been used for many years for the treatment of nausea as well as diarrhea and aches in the stomach. Scientifically speaking, ginger has a chemical component that is found in its roots which is known as shogaols and gingerols which relaxes the person’s intestinal tract. For pregnant women who are experiencing nausea, it is advised by experts to either chew the ginger raw or eat a ginger candy.

  • Potato chips

Believe it or not, potato chips are also a common pregnancy nausea remedy. However, a pregnant women should not consume too many of them. Only a few potato chips are suggested to be munched by a pregnant women experiencing nausea.

Water is a pregnancy nausea remedy because of the fact that dehydration can be one of the reasons why a pregnant women experiences nausea in the first place. Hence, experts often remind pregnant women to drink at the least eight full glasses of water in a day.

  • Peanut butter and Nuts

This is a pregnancy nausea remedy that is based on protein rich foods, which aid in combating morning sickness or nausea episodes during the period of pregnancy.

  • Mint

Another pregnancy nausea remedy is mint, which has an anesthetic constituent which functions to minimize the morning sickness or nausea that reduces the gag reflex of the stomach, although this kind of remedy does not suit all pregnant women who are experiencing nausea episodes, as some might not appreciate the taste of mint.

  • Citrus fruits

Fruits that are citrusy in nature are a good pregnancy nausea remedy. The following citrus fruits that a pregnant woman can digest are lime, orange or lemon.

  • Fennel seed

Fennel seed is a pregnancy nausea remedy, and is a good way to reduce the queasiness during nausea episodes. The fennel seeds are ground with the use of a blender or coffee grinder and placed in boiling water. Afterwards, you can consume it and can help to treat nausea.

  • Vegetables and Fruits
